Nikki liked Bear At my first watch of this movie, I thought Nikki never liked Bear, but I think I was wrong. When Nikki asked Bear "Do you like me?'' I thought Nikki was just fed up, he had just called her "Freaky Nikki" and she had just had it, she had known for a long time, but now she was getting disrespected. On my second watch, I saw it from a different perspective. Yes, she was fed up, she DID feel disrespected, but I think she was fed up waiting for him to actually tell her and not be a coward (which he is for the entirety of this movie), but he couldn't, and that's what upset her the most. And that shows after her reaction, when Bear told her he didn't, she was disappointed to see the cowardliness of the only man she felt comfortable sharing some things (as she said right before). That's why she said "Now is the time to tell me", she was giving him the last opportunity to have the courage. Because Bear, more than a "Villain" or a "bad person", is just a coward.
